The 30-day money-back guarantee
Every catalog product we sell — the XXL desk mats across all five collections and the PU leather desk mats — comes with a 30-day money-back guarantee, counted from the day your order is delivered. Not happy with the print, the size, or how it fits your setup? Reach out within those 30 days and we'll make it right with a replacement or a full refund to your original payment method.
The guarantee applies everywhere we ship: the United States, Canada, the United Kingdom, Australia, New Zealand, and Ireland.
How to start a refund or replacement
- Email contact@gamingdeskmat.com within 30 days of delivery. Include your order number.
- Tell us what's wrong. If something is damaged or misprinted, attach one or two photos — that's usually all we need.
- We confirm the fix: a replacement mat or a refund. Refunds go back to your original payment method through Stripe's secure system.
No return authorization forms, no restocking fees, no original packaging required. A real person reads every email — you can also reach us through the contact page.
Defective or damaged on arrival
If your mat shows up with a printing defect, damaged stitching, transit damage, or it's simply the wrong item, send photos along with your order number. In most cases you don't need to ship anything back — we send a replacement or issue a full refund, and you keep the mat. It's faster for you, and it's how we prefer to handle it.
Custom mats: how refunds work
Orders from the custom desk mat page work a little differently, because each one is printed with your own image.
Defects are fully covered. If your custom mat arrives with a print error, the wrong size, or any damage, the same photo process applies: full replacement or full refund, your choice.
No convenience returns after production. Once your design is confirmed and printing has started, we can't accept a return because you changed your mind — a mat printed with your photo can't be resold. This is standard for personalized products.
The process protects you before that point. After checkout, you email your image following the steps on the send your design page. A human reviews it and confirms the print with you before production begins. No validated image, no production — which means you can cancel for a full refund at any time before we confirm your print.
Cancellations
Catalog orders: email us as soon as possible after ordering. If your mat hasn't shipped yet, we cancel and refund in full. If it's already on its way (delivery takes 7–14 business days), just receive it and use the 30-day guarantee.
Custom orders: cancel any time before we confirm your print for a full refund — no questions asked. Once production starts, the defect coverage above still applies.
Refund timing
Approved refunds are processed through Stripe to your original payment method. Most banks post the credit within 5–10 business days. If yours takes longer, email us and we'll send you the Stripe confirmation so you can follow up with your bank.
What the guarantee doesn't cover

Common questions
Do I need the original packaging to get a refund?
No. Since most claims are resolved without a return, packaging doesn't matter. Keep the mat, send photos, done.
Can I exchange for a different design instead of a refund?
Yes. If you'd rather swap your mat for another print — say, one from the Japanese collection — mention it in your email and we'll arrange the exchange.
What happens if my custom image is refused?
If your image can't be printed — resolution too low, or it contains copyrighted characters or logos we have to politely decline — you can send a different image or take a full refund. Nothing is ever printed without your confirmation.
